Easter Fun!

Easter was a great day!! The weather was amazing and we were able to be outside most of the day... Cody wanted to go walk on the ditch bank behind our apartments and realized there was now water in there and immediatly wanted to fish... Later in the day my cousin that lives in our apartments brought Cody a fishing pole and tackle box to fish with...we spent a couple of ours fishing but he never caught anything...I don't think there were any fish in there but he had a great time trying.
Lexi spent a good portion of her day playing with the neighbor girl Sara. Sara is a couple of years younger than Lexi but they get along great.
Kylee had a good time playing with us too. My mom and her boyfriend were over most of the day so we all hung out. It was nice.

After playing outside we had a traditional Easter dinner and dessert and then I look Cody and Lexi home. It was the first holiday I have had in a long time that I have truly enjoyed and looked forward to. I think I am finally happy in my life and with my situation and that makes it a whole lot easier to have a positive attitude and enjoy things!!

We are gonna do what with eggs??

Saturday night Cody and Lexi came over to spend the night with me and Kylee and we had plans to spend Easter together... Cody asked what our plans were and I told him after dinner we were gonna color eggs...he gave me a look like he had never heard of it and was very shocked that we were going to do that. It was like he doesn't remember ever coloring eggs and we had to teach him what to do...it was quite comical. We had a pretty good evening...there was a little bit of arguing going on so I was glad the night ended early and we got a fresh start Easter morning!!

Is Spring finally here?!?!?!

He had to rescue Lexi from the big tree! Good thing he is tall...

What awesome weather we had over the weekend and today! I have spring fever so bad...I am ready for it to be warm again every day. It feels like it has been a very long and cold winter...

We had a wonderful weekend. It was my weekend to have Cody and Lexi...we went to Charlie's in Mountain Home to help him get his house finished up. Unfortunately Kylee went to her dad's so she couldn't hang out with us this weekend. Charlie had to leave today to go to California to see his family and pick up his kids to bring them back here to spend a week with him. He hasn't seen them in awhile so he was really looking forward to that. Saturday Brad and Cheryl and Little Lexi came to see us and have a BBQ. It was good to see them and get to visit. Cheryl is due in a month and is really to the uncomfortable part of her pregnancy so it was good to see her but sad to see how uncomfortable she was...she only has 4 more weeks to go. They are expecting a little girl and are naming her Kennedy LaRee. Very cute!! The kids spent most of their time over at the park by Charlie's house. At one point Lexi came and got us to tell us that Little Lexi was stuck in the tree and so Brad had to go over there to save her...haha. On Sunday we just worked around the house and BBQ'd some chicken and then me and the kids headed back to Boise... It was beautiful weather all weekend and was nice again today... Tonight Charlie stopped to see me on his way out of town which was a nice surprise because I wasn't expecting it so it was nice to give him one more goodbye hug and kiss before he left. I won't get to see him again until next Wed. We will be meeting his kids for the first time next Wednesday. I am really looking forward to that!!

Where WE can be silly!!

While we were at Chuck E Cheese last night...we decided to be silly and go check out the sketch/photo both...At first we didn't really know what to do and then all I could was laugh... We had a moment of seriousness but it didn't last long because I couldn't quit laughing long enough..but it was fun and I think we got some cute pics out of it!! The last one if my favorite one...














I love this guy! His silliness really keeps me alive! :)

Where a Kid Can Be a Kid...

We went to Chuck E Cheese's last night for Cody's birthday. He actually turned 7 on March 19th but has been sick and we have been busy so we just made it last night...we had a great time. Charlie came to Boise to go with us and my mom and her boyfriend Mike went. We had pizza (which isn't as bad as it used to be) and mostly played games. Of course it is always a contest to see who can end up with the most tickets so you end up spending $100 and get a plastic spider ring when you are done...haha But we all seemed to enjoy it so it was worth it!

Needless to say...we had a great time and it was good to be a kid and enjoy some good kid time!

To catch up...

Today I met my friend Lynnette for lunch on Qdoba's. It was really good to see her and to catch up... I always love meeting with her because she always has some inspiring things to talk about. I woke up feeling kinda blah today because of the weather so it was good to meet for lunch and chat... I can't wait for the summer weather so we can start meeting at her house for pool parties and bbq's and I can see her more. They are really an awesome family and I enjoy spending time with them...

So inspired...

So I decided I would start this process now... I really don't feel like working so I thought what the hell....might as well start. haha. Charlie is coming to town tonight to go to dinner with us at Chuck E Cheese's. We are taking Cody their for his birthday. We were supposed to go there back on the 18th...the night before his bday but were unable to because he was sick and so we are just now getting to it. And believe me...He didn't forget that I promised him I would take him after he got better. So, me, Charlie, Kylee, Lexi, Cody, my mom and her boyfriend are all going tonight. Cheryl and little Lexi were supposed to go with us but they aren't now because Cheryl isn't feeling well. She is due on May 5th but is having some pain and wants to stay home and rest. I don't blame her...but I was really looking forward to seeing her since I haven't spent time with her in so long. Well I will end at that...I am going to start taking more pics so I can share them on my blog and have them for keepsakes...I am excited to start this! Goodbye all! The start of blogging...

I have never blogged before but after seeing Donna, Angee and Lynnette's...I have decided to start. I am excited to do this and be able to share more of my life with family and friends at their convenience...check back soon!
